They help their employers comply with state labor laws. The client also administers and enforces laws governing wages, hours and breaks, overtime, retaliation, workplace safety and health, apprenticeship training programs, medical care, and other benefits for injured workers.

The Challenge:

The client faced challenges in providing accessibility to critical information for workers within a stringent regulatory framework. They aimed to empower the public with real-time access to data while streamlining customer case management, and document management systems in Salesforce.

The client needed help to build an online system that would incorporate their needs as per the following:

  • To display unpaid final judgments and wage claims, including port drayage motor carriers.

  • To allow users to view a real-time list of defendants.

  • To enhance custom case management and document management systems in Salesforce to meet project requirements.

  • To generate run-time documents by merging the data fields.

  • To allow users to download these documents in PDF/Excel formats.

Boosting Productivity with Salesforce.

The Solution:

Cloud Science Labs made collaborative innovative efforts toward the client's business problem. We came up with Salesforce Community Cloud and Case Management enhancement solutions. In addition to the existing Salesforce platform, we:

  • Built a comprehensive community from scratch, providing public access to  Judgments and Wage claims allowing users to download the result in PDF, or Excel files.

  • Improved the existing case management system to efficiently handle cases and judgments.

  • Managed system information for liable parties and claimants, ensuring easy access and updates by the internal team.

CSL customized Salesforce solution helped the client to serve the public and manage their internal processes.

Implementation Highlight:

Some of the key implementation highlights of the project were:

Public Access Portal:

Created an online search page on the client website for direct public access to unpaid final judgments and wage claims records from the existing salesforce database.

Visualforce Integration:

Embedded PDF views in the system detail pages to enhance user experience and facilitate access to the records.

Download Capabilities:

Allowed users to download search results for judgments and wage claims.

Data Migration and Automation:

Used Data Loader tool for migrating data to the Judgement Parties object.

Document Generation and Reporting:

Allowed users to generate documents from templates and report based on specific data ranges (i.e. Current Quarter, Current Fiscal Year).

Report Management:

Implemented Automated case role and related business records management.
