We leveraged MuleSoft Any point Studio to construct a Process API, responsible for handling the business processes.a set of functionalities and modules that help you design, build, and manage APIs. It allows you to create APIs to expose your application's functionalities securely and efficiently.
The Process API triggers a System API, acting as a sub process. The System API utilizes the transformed JSON file to connect with Salesforce's Apex Rest API, facilitated by the Salesforce connector module.
To clarify, the Salesforce Apex Rest API is a customized interface developed in Apex language and hosted within Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud. It receives the JSON payload from the System API and carries out specific business logic, facilitating the creation or modification of Orders within the Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud.
By employing this design approach, we ensure a smooth and efficient integration between external systems and Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud, enabling seamless data transfer and leveraging the capabilities of MuleSoft and Salesforce technologies.
