Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP)

  • Assist in configuring and managing unified customer profiles using Salesforce Data Cloud.

  • Support data ingestion, mapping, and harmonization across multiple data sources.

  • Configure Data Model Objects (DMOs) and identity resolution rules.

  • Build and manage audience segments for targeted marketing activation.

  • Activate audiences into SFMC journeys and external advertising platforms.


Journey Builder & Campaign Management

  • Design, build, test, and deploy multi-step customer journeys.

  • Configure journey entry sources, decision splits, wait activities, engagement splits, and goals.

  • Integrate journeys with CRM data, Data Cloud audiences, APIs, and event triggers.

  • Execute A/B testing and journey optimization initiatives.

  • Monitor journey performance and provide actionable insights.


Automation Studio

  • Create and manage automated workflows for imports, segmentation, and triggered sends.

  • Develop SQL Query Activities, Filter Activities, Data Extracts, and File Transfers.

  • Monitor automation schedules and troubleshoot execution issues.

  • Maintain data hygiene and operational efficiency across campaigns.


Email Studio & Content Builder

  • Develop and execute personalized email campaigns.

  • Build responsive email templates using drag-and-drop tools and HTML/CSS.

  • Implement dynamic personalization using AMPscript and SSJS.

  • Manage Data Extensions, subscriber lists, suppression lists, and preference centers.

  • Ensure compliance with email deliverability standards and regulations (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL).


Einstein AI Features

  • Configure Einstein Send Time Optimization (STO).

  • Implement Einstein Engagement Scoring and Content Tagging.

  • Support subject-line optimization using Einstein Copy Insights.

  • Assist with personalized recommendation implementations.


Cloud Pages & Web Personalization

  • Build landing pages, microsites, and preference centers using Cloud Pages.

  • Develop Smart Capture forms and subscription management workflows.

  • Apply AMPscript and SSJS for personalized web experiences.


Mobile Studio

  • Create and execute SMS, MMS, and push notification campaigns.

  • Configure opt-in/opt-out workflows and keyword management.

  • Integrate mobile channels into cross-channel customer journeys.


Social Studio & Advertising Studio

  • Support social publishing, engagement monitoring, and social listening activities.

  • Sync SFMC audiences with advertising platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, and LinkedIn.

  • Assist in paid media audience activation and campaign reporting.


Analytics & Reporting

  • Build reports and dashboards using Analytics Builder and Intelligence Reports (Datorama).

  • Monitor campaign KPIs including open rates, CTR, CTOR, bounce rates, unsubscribe rates, and conversions.

  • Present campaign performance insights to internal teams and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams on cross-platform reporting initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Working knowledge of Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder, Data Extensions, Mobile Studio, and Cloud Pages.

  • Foundational understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP), segmentation, and identity resolution.

  • Proficiency in AMPscript for personalization and dynamic content.

  • Strong SQL skills for Query Activities and data management.

  • Experience with responsive email development using HTML/CSS.

  • Understanding of email marketing best practices and compliance standards.

  • Familiarity with Einstein AI capabilities within SFMC.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification (preferred or in progress).


Nice to Have:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification.

  • Experience with SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript).

  • Exposure to Social Studio and Advertising Studio.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM integrations (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud).

  • Experience with Datorama / Intelligence Reports.

  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.

  • Understanding of other CDP platforms such as Segment, Tealium, or mParticle.

  • Exposure to Salesforce Personalization (Interaction Studio) or Loyalty Management.
