Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize Odoo applications and modules based on business Requirements.

  • Utilize Odoo's core modules such as Sales, Purchase, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, Projects, Timesheets, and Human Resources (HR) to deliver integrated business Solutions.

  • Develop solutions with a complete understanding of Odoo data models, ensuring optimal database structure and performance.

  • Customize the front-end views using XML and the OWL framework to meet user interface requirements.

  • Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the Odoo platform, utilizing advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills.

  • Migrate Odoo systems from older versions to the latest stable release, ensuring smooth transitions and data integrity.

  • Develop custom Q-Web reports for various Odoo modules, tailoring reports to meet client specifications.

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to interact with PostgreSQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.

  • Customize views and develop features using Widgets, Wizards, and JavaScript, enhancing user experience and interactivity.

  • Develop custom import scripts using Python and work with Odoo’s import/export tools to facilitate data integration.

  • Ensure code quality and version control using Git and collaborate with other developers in a team environment.

  • Work in a Linux-based environment for deployment and development, ensuring compatibility and smooth operation of Odoo solutions.

  • Collaborate with other team members to support business processes, gathering requirements, and delivering solutions on time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Python and core programming principles.

  • In-depth understanding of the Odoo framework and its architecture, including core modules and data models.

  • Hands-on experience with Odoo versions 14 and later, including module customization and development.

  • Proficient in front-end development using XML and the OWL framework.

  • Expertise in PostgreSQL with a focus on writing optimized SQL queries for interacting with Odoo databases.

  • Demonstrated experience in Odoo migration from older versions to the latest release.

  • Strong experience in view customization, including Widgets, Wizards, JavaScript, and XML-based views.

  • Proven ability to create Q-Web reports for various Odoo modules.

  • Experience with data import using standard Odoo tools and custom Python import scripts.

  • Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development.

  • Experience working in a Linux-based environment for Odoo development and deployment.

  • Strong debugging skills and the ability to resolve complex Odoo-related issues.
